CP Dra outburst As reported by Tonny Vanumunster, the poorly studied (and poorly monitored recently) dwarf nova, CP Dra is in outburst. YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer 20000515.883 153C (T. Vanmunster) The object was originally discovered as a possible supernova in NGC 3147. If the object is still bright, the outburst has a chance to be a superoutburst. Observers with available time longer than a few hours might take a time-series to test the possibility. According to the literature record, outbursts are relatively rare. The should deserve more attention, both from visual and CCD observers. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
