[vsnet-campaign 88] KK Tel bright outburst
KK Tel bright outburst
As informed in [vsnet-alert 4860], The suspected SU UMa-type dwarf nova
KK Tel is undergoing a bright outburst. The present season allows a
relatively good perspective of time-resolved photoemtry.
KK Tel has been suspected to be an SU UMa-type dwarf nova having a
suspected orbital period of 2.02 hours (Howell et al. 1991, PASP 103, 300).
A search for superhumps is strongly recommended. Considering the
relatively long (suggested) period, relatively long (more than 3 hours)
runs are desirable.
Please report the progress of observations and any finding to this list
(and vsnet-alert when necessary).
