[vsnet-campaign-xray 221] SLX 1746-331 outburst

SLX 1746-331 outburst

   According to ATEL #143, Markwardt reports the detection of a new outburst
of SLX 1746-331.  The object is proposed to be identified with the ROSAT
source RX J1749.8-3312 = 1RXS J174948.4-331215 at 17h 49m 50s.6, -33o 11' 55"
(J2000.0).  The source is reported to be rising (210 mCrab on Apr. 8.65,
2-10 keV, RXTE/PCA observation).  Further observations in different
wavelengths are encouraged.
