Dear SN watchers, The CfA team has reported the classifications of other two SNe than SN II 2003ed. SN 2003dt: In [vsnet-campaign-sn 606] (Apr. 23): >SN2003dt 20021124.1 <188:C KAI >SN2003dt 20030421.5 175:C SCH >SN2003dt 20030422.5 175:C SCH > ># SN 2003dt (20:47:17.56, +0:18:42.8 (J2000.0), offset = 23"W, 32"S) ># is hosted by NGC 6962, a spiral galaxy (SAB(r)ab) affected some ># Galactic extinction. SN Ia 2002ha (maximum mag was about 15.0) ># occured on the same galaxy and still visible at about 15" from SN ># 2003dt. (vsnet-campaign-sn 484 (2002 Oct. 23) and 486 (Oct. 28)) It turned out to be type Ia SN several weeks after maximum on May 5.45. SN 2003dw: In [vsnet-campaign-sn 613] (Apr. 29): >SN2003dw 20020405.32 <180:C DRi >SN2003dw 20020522.24 <180:C DRi >SN2003dw 20030426.17 167:C DRi >SN2003dw 20030428.10 167:C DRi > ># SN 2003dw (16:45:51.10, +59:37:38.0 (J2000.0), offset = 11"W, 19"N) ># is hosted by MCG +10-24-51 = UGC 10548, a barred-spiral (SBb) ># galaxy. The discovery magnitude is close to the expected maximum ># for typical SN Ia. A spectrum taken on May 5.34 revealed that it is type Ia SN near maximum.
