SN2003af 20030203.56 156C PAL SN2003af 20030203.57 156C PAL SN2003af 20030207.0 157C PAL # A host galaxy of SN 2003af (11:10:21.69, +23:24:50.9 (J2000.0), # offset = 4"E, 2"S) is 2MASXi J1110213+232453, a dim galaxy. The SN # is also seen on the images taken on Jan. 19 (magnitude was not # given). It seems to be a enough bright SN to easily follow-up. SN 2003ad: In [vsnet-campaign-sn 553] (Feb. 5): >SN2003ad 20020214.0 <200:C Puc >SN2003ad 20030203.47 178C Puc > ># A host galaxy of SN 2003ad (14:56:28.07, +45:21:09.2 (J2000.0), ># offset = 8"E, 4"S) is 2MASXi J1456273+452112, a small barred-spiral ># galaxy. The SN is superimposed on the outermost part of the disk. The CfA team took a spectrum of SN 2003ad on Feb 6.53, which revealed that it is a type II SN soon after explosion. The recession velocity of the host galaxy is measured as 10500 km/s, which suggest that it is somewhat bright event as a core-collapse type SN.
