Dear SN watchers, GCN (Gamma-ray burst Coordinate Network) circular No. 1834 reported the radio observation of SN Ic 2003L (vsnet-campaign-sn 535, 538, 544), which was detected as a quite bright transitent in 8.5 GHz band. The reporter says it is comparable to the radio luminosity of type-Ic hypernova SN 1998bw, so it possibly is a very energetic event. If it is really energetic, the decline would be slow. The magnitude estimates of this remarkable object is very urged. Sincerely Yours, Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan yamaoka@rc.kyushu-u.ac.jp
