# NGC 3512, the host face-on spiral (SAB(rs)c) galaxy of SN 2001fv,
# has nearly the same distance (or v_r) as the Virgo Cluster.  The
# expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 13.  The maximum,
# however, was possibly missed during the solar conjunction (R.A. =
# 11h).  The spectroscopic type and age determination is urged, as
