From: "LCDR Frederick M. EWALT USN (Retired)" <fmewalt@prodigy.net>
Subject: New SN Observation for SN2000df
Finally, a new SN that is not already set down into the tree tops, to =
the WEST, or too far EAST in the Providence Light Pollution or Moon =
Glare. Attached is last evening's pretty good image of SN2000df. Here =
is the tested link, for this image on my homepage:
http://pages.prodigy.net/fmewalt/.wi_SN2000df-1W.jpg
This was a really hard one to pull out a precise magnitude measurement, =
because it lies so close to the glare from CGCG 51-70's nucleus. =
Plus/minus .5 is about it, as always, through a clear I/R blocking =
filter.
Best Regards;
Fred E.
