Follow the evolution of hydrogen emission lines, and see whether TiO absorption appears as in the past episodes. Fujii-san in Japan has produced a number of astrophysically interesting spectroscopic results (some of which have been published in professional journals) with a similar aperture telescope. So you will have sufficient opprotunity to make useful measurements of rho Cas. Please make proper and careful calibrations (wavelength and flux) as much as you can -- they are often the weakest point of amateur spectroscopy. Regards, Taichi Kato
