V445 Pup short-term variation Dear Colleagues, The Kyoto data of V445 Pup on Feb. 24 has shown that the object may have entered an active phase. The object was several tenths of magnitude brighter than previous nights, and showed relarively large short-term variations. The most remarkable rise in ~0.1 mag took in 30 min, and this feature looked recurrent (the periodicity was not confirmed becuase of the shortness of the run). Observers at preferable locations are encouraged to follow this activity, since this may be a suggestion of an underlying periodicity. Regards, VSNET Collaboration team
