[vsnet-campaign-nova 219] V445 Pup short-term variation
V445 Pup short-term variation
The VSNET V445 Pup collaboration team has received multi-color
and/or time-series photometry taken by A. Retter, G. Handler, and
M. Martigoni (Thanks very much!).
Combined with the Kyoto observations on February 10 - 19,
the data shows short-term modulations with a time-scale from ten minutes
to an hour, and longer scale (a few days) variations which are also
reported by visual observers. No promising periodicity of both variations
can be detected, however we can see weak signals around 0.022, 0.032, 0.045
day in I- and V-bands. Amplitudes of the short-term modulations
are variable, but typicaly 0.03mag in V-band and 0.01-0.02mag in B-band.
The object seems to be show both "flare" and "dip", but due to the strong
activity of the source, it is difficult to determine the base level.
More CCD time-series photometry is apparently needed.
