Thank you for your comments, and for the explanation for the inconsistency
in the estimates of the nova magnitudes. Note, however, that the nova, now
~7.5 mag below maximum, and still bright at mV=10.5-11.0 is a very
promising object to search for periodicities. The amplitude may be very
small - perhaps less than a tenth of magnitude as in V1493 Aql and
V1494 Aql, but a few long continuous nights with a CCD might be useful.
