V504 Cen: southern bright VY Scl star Dear Colleagues, We (Kato and Stubbings) have submitted an article on V504 Cen, which will appear in astro-ph tomorrow. The object is a new, firmly established VY Scl-type star. The rare brightness (mag about 13) makes it a very ideal target for southern time-series observations. When there are no high priority targets, we recommend this object as the southern CCD campaign target. The object is located at 14:12:49.11, -40:21:37.1 (J2000.0). Suitably placed after PU CMa runs.
