RX Vol: superhump period increase and expectation of post-superoutburst rebrightening Dear Colleagues, An analysis of the data until May 12 indicates overall positive period derivative feature (around dot(P)/P = +7*10^(-5)). This is very consistent with the superhump behavior of the SU UMa stars at this superhump period. In such systems, the amplitude of superhumps often once decay well before the termination of a superoutburst. Please don't confuse this feature with the termination of the superhump signal, and keep your close (electric) eyes on this object. We can also expect rebrightening(s). If this occurs a few days after the rapid decline of the superoutburst plateau, it would be a good suggestion for a WZ Sge-type star. Such rebrightening more frequently occur around a week after the rapid decline. We thus need monitoring for rebrightening(s) for the coming two weeks. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
