RX Vol: terminal rebrightening phase! Dear Colleagues, We have received from Berto Monard three nights data of RX Vol. The data clearly indicate that the object is just undergoing (on late May 12) a "rebrightening phase" during the terminal portion of a superoutburst plateau. This feature is associated with systems with short orbital periods and high outburst amplitudes (the best example being V1028 Cyg). Clarification of the nature of this phenomenon should certainly shed light on these large-amplitude, infrequently outbursting SU UMa stars. Any observations around this phase are very welcome.
