RX Vol: likely emerging superhumps! Peter Nelson provided a 2.7-hour time-series photometry. The data show 0.1 mag modulations, which are probably emerging superhumps. The present period is about 0.06 d, suggesting that RX Vol belongs to a short-period SU UMa-type dwarf nova (as represented by WZ Sge-type stars). The fully developed superhumps may have different periods, as we have seen in V1028 Cyg. We strongly encourage further continuous observations! We will soon put information on the VSNET website.
