V601 Sco outburst!
Rod Stubbings has reported that the poorly known (likely) dwarf nova
V601 Sco is undergoing an outburst. There has been no record of other
outbursts reported to VSNET.

Since the object seems to have a large outburst amplitude, time-series
photometry during the current outburst is very strongly encouraged.
Spectroscopic observation will be also helpful in determining the type
of the object.
If anyone succeeds in taking CCD images, please send FITS files to
Yamaoka-san (yamaoka@rc.kyushu-u.ac.jp) for outburst astrometry.
