I would suggest that someone look at the UCAC1 catalog and
see if the 16th magnitude object appears there.  This is
also close to a number of Galactic Bulge surveys like MACHO
and OGLE, and this object may fall in one of their fields.
  In any case, you should consider using UCAC1 for your
astrometry since you will have smaller errors and a more
recent epoch reference frame.
