[vsnet-alert 5606] M95 supernova?

This is possibly a wild-goose chase, but I have a report of a possible
supernova near Messier 95 = NGC 3351, about mag. 15 and located about 2'.1
from the center in pa77. No bright known asteroid here according to the
MPchecker.
