BC UMa superhump period update

Dear Colleagues,

   We have updated the superhump period of BC UMa by combining the new
data set provided by Nick James.  Other further examinations of the
existing data have been also made.  The resultant superhump period at
the time of the "true superhump" full growth is determined to be 0.06444 d.

    A more complete analysis and further observations are under way (with
a milder competition with XTE J1118+480 ;-).  Observations of both
remarkable sources (BC UMa and XTE J1118+480) are strongly encouraged and
we would be happy to hear any more reports.
