	       Registration and Call for Papers
	       --------------------------------


Dear Colleague,

this is the Call for Papers of the Rome 2000 Mini-Workshop on
Soft Gamma Repeaters, the one-day Workshop on Soft Gamma-ray Repeaters 
that will be held on October 16, 2000 at the CNR Headquarters in Rome, 
just before the second Rome GRB Workshop "Gamma Ray Bursts in the 
Afterglow Era". 

Given the limited available time for oral presentations, a poster session 
is planned as well.
 
We solicit contibutions not only specific to Soft Gamma-ray Repeaters 
but also to Anomalous X-ray Pulsars and the link between these two classes.

Three review talks are foreseen:

Chryssa Kouveliotou on observational properties of SGRs
Luigi   Stella      on observational properties of AXPs
Chris   Thompson    on the theoretical models for SGRs and AXPs

The registration to this SGR workshop is FREE OF CHARGE for those
who register for the Second Rome GRB Workshop "Gamma Ray Bursts in 
the Afterglow Era". For those who wish only to attend to the SGR
workshop a minimum fee will be requested on site.
