Dear Colleagues,

QY Per now seems to have entered its rapid decline stage. I started =
observing the object at 19h11m UT (2000, Jan 09), using the 0.35-m f/6.3 =
telescope with ST-7 CCD (unfiltered) and I hope to be able to continue =
for a couple of extra hours (sky conditions are quite favorable now). =
