In re SN 1999eu in NGC 1097, just announced on IAUC 7304, here is a BVRI photometric sequence suitable for CCD observations. This is one of the excellent sequences published by Hamuy & Maza (1989 AJ 97,720), which are of "secondary standard" quality. The paper, which can viewed using the ADS Web site, also contains charts. The stars below can also be used to make a local zero-point adjustment to USNO-A magnitudes for fainter stars. \Brian Name RA (2000) Dec s GSC V B-V V-R V-I NGC 1097 1 2 46 56.7 -30 15 16 G 7011-0399 11.45 0.65 0.36 0.71 NGC 1097 2 2 46 58.0 -30 16 49 G 7011-0343 11.51 0.73 0.41 0.77 NGC 1097 3 2 46 34.8 -30 11 58 G 7011-0545 13.04 1.23 0.65 1.26 NGC 1097 4 2 46 42.5 -30 22 57 G 7011-0438 13.27 0.64 0.38 0.74 NGC 1097 5 2 46 35.7 -30 20 46 G 7011-0625 13.71 0.68 0.40 0.79
