Greetings,
WX Hydri was in outburst on 5 November between 0748 and 1233UT. It was
about 2 magnitudes brighter than normal quiescent magnitude (unfiltered
CCD). This may have been a precursor to the superoutburst, given the one
faint reading between 5 and 8 November. Thus the present outburst could be
a superoutburst - it's worth
watching. It may, of course, just be two quickly recurring normal outbursts
which are not impossible for this star.
Regards,
Stan Walker
