Dear colleagues,
We obtained unfiltered CCD observations of NSV 26006 = KUV 23012+2702, in the night of November 7/8, 1999 at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 SCT telescope with ST-7 CCD. The resulting light curve covers 3.6 hours and clearly reveals the existence of superhumps with a semi-amplitude of 0.15 mag and a period of 0.0826 +/- 0.0012 d (PDM method).
Our observations thus confirm the SU UMa-type nature of this object, as announced by Jochen Pietz in his message of November 5th, 1999.
Kind regards,
Tonny Vanmunster
