[vsnet-alert 3643] Re: SN 1999em in NGC 1637

Dear SN watchers,

  Some additional informations about SN 1999em:

[Spectroscopy and Astrometry]

  IAUC 7296 noticed that it is of type II in an early phase. SN seems
to be obscured some. The position of SN is also reported: the offset
from the host nucleus is 15".4 west and 17".0 south, as being
remarked.

[Comparison Stars]

  In my table on [vsnet-alert 3640], the GSC-ID of one star is
incorrect. Thank you Dr. Llapasset for pointing it out.

>GSC0473901361      29s.981     48'07".42  29"E202"N  13.75

should read

GSC0473900125      29s.981     48'07".42  29"E202"N  13.75

  Other useful informations are given by Prof. Skiff and Dr. Kato;
