SS UMi possible superoutburst The SU UMa-type dwarf nova SS UMi is reported to be undergoing a bright outburst. The latest superoutburst occurred in this April (Muyllaert et al. at mv=13.9). If the present outburst is confirmed to be a genuine superoutburst, this short recurrence time (~80 d) breaks the shortest record of non-"ER UMa star" supercycles. Observations are encouraged.
