Hi Mati and readers,
re: PKS 2155-304 and 'accurate V magnitudes'
The given magnitude (12.6V) for comparison star C is visually out of
order in so much that it is of a disturbing nature during the estimate.
It looks rather as 12.3 or 12.4 to me. Any comments? Maybe it is
variable? With a B-V of 0.6 it shouldn't be an awkward comparison
star unless it were to be an emission-liner
re: PKS 2005-489 and Berto's (inaccurate?) magnitudes
I used comparison magnitudes from a nearby GSPC field and
transfered this info into a convenient set of sequences near PKS.
re: other blazars
PKS 2316-423 was <14.0 recently and might be of the brightness
indicated in the literature.
