[vsnet-alert 1312] Bright outburst of V630 Cyg



Bright outburst of V630 Cyg

   The SU UMa-type dwarf nova V630 Cyg is undergoing a bright (super?)
outburst as indicated by the following observations.

  971101.371  <149  (G. Hanson)
  971102.253  <152  (G. Hanson)
  971103.099   145  (G. Hanson)
  971103.185   144  (G. Hanson)
  971103.885   139  (E. Broens)

   The latest superoutburst of V630 Cyg was observed in 1997 June, when
the star reached mv=14.3 (G. Hanson).

   D. Nogami et al. indentified V630 Cyg as a new member of SU UMa-type
dwarf novae on the occasion of the 1996 August superoutburst (vsnet-alert 515,
http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Mail/vsnet-alert/msg00515.html),
giving a superhump period of 0.079 day.
