Calling Southern Hemisphere observers!
Last week I relayed information on outbursts of the southern dwarf novae
OY Car and Z Cha. I now urgently need to know the status of Z Cha.
i.e. is it undergoing a superoutburst or not?
I need to know this in order to trigger observations with the International
Ultraviolet Explorer. Unfortunately bad weather in New Zealand has prevented
many observations being made, but it seems possible that it is only a normal
outburst.
Therefore if anyone can see RA 08 08, Dec = -76 23, please have a go and let
me know the answer.
Tom Marsh
