Dear Colleagues,
After successive rainy days, we have restarted photometric observations
of AL Com since last night. As pointed out by J. Patterson (private
communication), AL Com no longer behaves like what is has ever been during
the present outburst. The light curve is dominated by a large-amplitude
wave (~0.4 mag in 2.5 hours), without a trace of superhump-like periodic
modulation.

A quick look at tonight's image shows that the star has faded considerably
(by nearly 1 mag). We will continue as long coverage as possible. Since
the Japanese weather is not enough cooperative in this season, we are
looking forward to seeing any information from observers following this
star.
