PG 0943+521 J. Pietz further provides following analysis of this peculiar object. >From jpietz@astro.uni-bonn.de Thu Jan 26 07:57:36 1995 To: tkato@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp I have used the available data to check the cycle length of PG0943+521 as far as possible with regard to the limited coverage. I have found 10 supermaxima from 1/1993 to 12/1994 (missing possible 7 maxima). The cycle length is ~42-45days for a superoutburst and ~4-5days for normal outbursts (most normal outburst are missed). The duration of a superoutburst is ~15-20days. PG0943+521 rises in 1-2days from ~15mag to ~12.0-12.2mag, stays there for 1-3days and fading than to 12.8-13.3mag before finally fading to minimum in 1-2days. But be cautious, this lightcurve analysis based on a visual estimates taken from VARSTARS, VSNET with limited temporal coverage. Regards, Jochen
