As Brian suggested it might be, N Aql 2001 appeared to be a highly reddened
object when my V and R band images were taken a little less than 12 hours
ago. A V-R color index of about +1.49 (!) is suggested. The following R band
estimate is now available:
AQLnova2001 20010520.320 12.10R OCN
Calibration: Approximate R(T) mag. of 10.123 for GSC 1048.0503 = Tycho-2
10.320 V(T).
