I recently was able to observe the 'new star' in Aquila. My V-band estimate
appears below. I also have an R-band photometric estimate that I'll send
along in a couple of hours:
AQLnova2001 20010520.325 13.59VT OCN
Calibration: Tycho-2 VT mag. of 10.320 for GSC 1048.0503 (This is the 103
comp on Reinder's chart as well as on the AAVSO PD05/01 chart.
