* NOTE comparison stars 139 and 146 of revised AAVSO seq of 10/96.
This sequence has a zero point error of 0.2-0.3 magnitude, and contains
one or two serious errors, though. Use of nearby 145 gives an estimate
of 147 (!), and use of Lasker photometry gives 140-141. Same Lasker stars
suggest that 145 actually is 139, and should be better used as 141 to make
it fit into the rest of the sequence.
It appears to me that some of the recent 'fluctuations' may at least partly
be related to use of that poor 145!
