Dear friends of VSNET, Hi! My name is Federico Claus, Cls in VSNET code, and I write again to ask you some help. I was asked to share my knowledge about distance indicators, such as Cepheids and RR Lyrae, in my astronomy club and I was wondering if there is any other kind of variable star that can help us to measure distances in the universe, besides the objects I mentioned before. I think SNIa do so, but I'm not quite sure. If it's not a problem, can you give me some references so that I can read and explain it? I will apreciate your help.
