Whenever you have an isolated image in the midst of a series that shows some unusual event, you will have a hard time convincing anyone that the event is real. Confirmation from a second image or another observer helps enormously. I would carefully examine the discrepant image and see if the unusual object has the same seeing profile as other stars in the frame. Do both a fwhm test, as well as a contour plot. As mentioned, it could be a satellite glint, cosmic ray, airplane beacon light, head-on meteor, or any number of other wierdnesses. If you cannot discredit it, put it on your stack of "unusual events" and pull it out every now and then.
