And why would that be? If it's V-filtered, he reported to AAVSO correctly;
if it's unfiltered, it should have been reported as "CCD":
Multi-letter Codes (Begin in column 38):
CCD Charge-coupled device (unfiltered)
CCDB Charge-coupled device (blue filter)
CCDI Charge-coupled device (infrared filter)
CCDO Charge-coupled device (orange filter)
CCDR Charge-coupled device (red filter)
CCDV Charge-coupled device (visual filter)
The observer will have to clarify.
