Dear colleagues, night sky brightness is an important parameter of every astronomical site. Its evolution in industrialized areas is of very interest, not only in the Czech Republic, where the light pollution law has been recently accepted. Raw data for night sky brightness measurements at the Nicholas Copernicus Observatory and Planetarium (Brno, CZ) are freely available at http://var.astro.cz/pejcha/sky (currently over 5500 measurements). Interested users who would like to work further with the data are truly welcome. The reason why I post this slightly off-topic message here is that variable star CCD images have much wider use than stellar photometry. All night sky brightness data mentioned above were gathered from ordinary variable star images, the same images which primary target were symbiotic binaries and that gave birth to 20 new variable stars. Best regards, Ondrej Pejcha
