>> 2 19:07:37.07 +44:00:20.1 15.0 (Romano)
I have looked at the Romano IBVS flyer, and indeed the star pointed
to by the GCVS on-line is wrong. Mati's revised position is the star
pointed to by Romano's chart. Unless the GCVS folks have unpublished info,
then the position needs to be corrected. 'Best' position is again
probably that from 2MASS:
V449 Lyr: 19 07 37.06 +44 00 19.9 (J2000)
...and 1RXS J190716.8+440109 is only 8" away (the plot thickens).
I notice also in SIMBAD that Henden & Honeycutt have published
BV data for comparison stars in the field (for MV Lyr), but the data
do not include V449 Lyr, only stars somewhat to the west.
Along with the data Mati cites, the star appears in the Lick NPM2
prelim catalogue with V=15.2, B-V=0.9. This is consistenet with the
2MASS color J-K=0.5.
Despite the change in star ID, it still looks like a possible
RS CVn, given the medium-red color and x-ray detection.
