ASAS 011205-5145.1 = NSV 15256 = HD 7282
GCVS range is from Hipparcos: 8.90 - 9.05 Hp
Spectral type from Houk (1978) is G3/G4.
B-V in Hipparcos is 1.41 (from Tycho), so it looks highly reddened. But it
is in the constellation Phoenix (?).
Maybe a wrong spectral type?
A look at the lightcurve seems to reveal the same pattern both in Hipparcos
and in ASAS-3: variations in the order of tens of days and long term changes
in the mean magnitude.
Hipparcos' data also seem to show variability in a few hours but this might
be just scatter.
ASAS-3 data suggest variability in a time-scale of 40-70 days but the
behaviour is very irregular.
If the spectral type and colors are right,
Hipparcos' V mag. are: 8.72 - 8.94
ASAS-3: V= 8.75 - 9.05
I think these data need to be analysed further to search for periods.
Regards,
Sebastian.
