ASAS 005002-4843.8 = CPD-49 116
This star wasn't catalogued as a variable star. It was discovered by ASAS-3 and has a rather large amplitude. It is also an infrared source (IRAS 00477-4900). I couldn't find a published spectral type in the literature. Tycho-2 color (B-V) is 1.1 but I think it can be misleading. Or maybe it is one of those warmer SR's (SRd if I remember well) See the pretty lightcurve at ASAS-3 site. Numbers are: V= 9.39 - 10.64 Type= SR Period= 122 days (200 days period in ASAS-3 catalogue is wrong) Regards, Sebastian. |
