All these observations by Kiyota always suffer from terrible errors.
I don't understand why people don't care about the numbers they provide
since they can then be used to "prove" wrong statements and to achieve false
conclussions.

It isn't this faint. 1.0 was its minimu brightness. The difference is as big
as being in a normal minimum or in a record-breaking state!!!!

This is funny:
Delta Sco is the bluest star in the sky with a B-V of -0.35/-0.36 !!
But it is actually around +0.06 since it has reddened at its bright state.
Of course its brightest state is 1.6-1.7 and it hasn't dropped to 1.97V
!!!!!

It wasn't this bright at all!

Is it a typing error for 11.07??

I don't have the possibilities of doing photometry but during these years
all I can do is suffering instead of enjoying when new PEP or CCD reports
are received.
If this is a professionals' issue, leave it to them!
If we want to so something useful, make sure that at least what we are doing
make sense. Check results, research.

In this context, visual observing is more than alive... even with the ASAS-3
system operating!

Best wishes,
Sebastian.

PS: this is not just because... Every person able to do photometry should
take it as a gift and try to follow the rules to produce useful data.
If not, they are wasting even their own time... ;-((
