   The 2003 minimum is at least 1 mag fainter than the past Mira pulsation
minima.  I wondered if an eclipse-like event may have been responsible.

   Simply picking up ASAS-3 magnitudes of the objects around RS Oph wouldn't
suffice?  Though I haven't tried yet.
