It looks like a sharper version of the double peak miras such as R Centauri
and BH Crucis.
Actually most of the miras with periods longer than 300 days show a hump on
the ascending branch of their lightcurves (I have seen one in R Car [per-
310 d.] recently)
Other stars with double maxima are: RZ Cygni, R Normae and U Canis Minoris,
Another interesting example of a pronounced hump such as that of R Hydrae is
CGCS 1825, a carbon mira in Puppis.
Thanks to ASAS-3 we can finally find that this star has a period around 450
days. This is one of the reddest stars I've seen.
