I just looked at Bruce Sumner's 1999 sequence for this field; he has the eclipsing variable mentioned, along with four datapoints showing the variability. The sequence can be found at either my anon ftp site or at Mike Simonsen's site: http://joevp.20m.com/charts/henden/Her%20to%20Vul/ The new variable is already marked on Mike's charts. So its variability has been known, just not published by itself.
