Note that this field has been calibrated by Henden; I'm pretty sure Simonsen has a chart available. The star in question shows in the .dat file as RA (J2000) DEC V B-V verr bverr 218.6795450 -0.786095 14.463 0.915 0.204 0.041 so is relatively red compared with the variable. The photometric errors indicate variability, though I haven't inspected the individual nights nor the images to see if there might be other problems.
