Historical eruptive? object near NGC 4192
I noticed that the "variable star" in 1992 announced in IAUC 5498
(information also given in IAUC 5499) located close to NGC 4192 may have
not apparently been given a designation.
121349.1 +145423 (2000.0) SN1992 * N4192 19E 22N - - - M.Wischnjewsky
The object was reported to show several emission lines. The object
was supposed to be a very faint supernova, a very bright nova in this
galaxy, or there even remained a possibility of a foreground flare star.
Is the nature of this object already clarified?
Regards,
Taichi Kato
