Hi Arno, From inside Excel, open the text file. Excel will try to find the field columns and will tell you what it thinks they are. You can then set the fields manually to separate the data into separate year, month, day, etc. fields. I have an Excel formula to find the JD from the vsnet date format that I can send you (or to anyone else who might want it).
