     I got coords for the Landolt sequence in this field and posted them
to ye olde 'vsnet' in 1996.  In case they help:

I show Landolt's errors for each star:  looks like the sequence is reliable
down to the V=13.28 star; fainter ones are too noisy for CCD use, but okay
for visual.  Note that star 1 of the sequence is quite red (it is an MSX 
source).
